Music has been a part of my life for a long time. I started recording and creating music back in 2009, and over the years, the sound has continued to evolve along with me. What started as a passion became a way for me to express experiences, emotions, ambition, relationships, and the different chapters of my life.
My sound lives somewhere between hip-hop, trap, Latin influence, and melodic music. I’ve never wanted to put myself into just one box. Some songs come from the grind and the hunger to get to the next level. Others come from love, loyalty, heartbreak, memories, or simply enjoying life. Every record has its own energy, but the goal has always been to make music that feels authentic to where I’m at in that moment.
As an artist, I’ve learned that the journey is just as important as the destination. There have been periods where I stepped away, came back, experimented with different sounds, and learned more about who I wanted to be creatively. Every experience has added another layer to the music. The older records represent who I was then, while the music I’m making now represents who I’m becoming.
That evolution is a big part of what DARIO is about. I’m not trying to recreate what I’ve already done. I’m building on it. I want the music to feel personal while still being something people can ride around to, turn up to, relate to, or make memories with.
Behind the music is a bigger vision: building something that represents authenticity, independence, loyalty, ambition, and staying true to yourself. That’s where Only The Real comes from. It’s more than a name—it’s a mindset that connects the music, the people around me, and everything I’m working toward.
I’m still on the journey. Still writing, recording, learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to bring the vision to life. There’s a lot more music to make and a lot more story to tell. This is only another chapter—not the final one.
